2 Weeks Old

It is hard to believe, but Landon is 2 weeks old.  These past 2 weeks have been incredibly tough with the stomach issues I have been having and all the other craziness.  Olivia loves her little brother, but is struggling to understand how to play quietly.  Here are a few pictures we have taken over the last couple weeks.

He is Here!!!

Landon Isaac Killingbeck arrived on March 15, 2011.  He came into the world after only about 4 hours of labor!
Born: 12:19pm
Weight: 7 lbs. 4oz.
Length: 20 1/2 in.

Dad and Olivia were the first to get to hold the beautiful little boy.

My Mom and Jeremy's Mom were both thrilled to hold the little bundle of joy.  He is lucky to have 2 Grandmas to spoil him.
He is so sweet, yet so noisy.  He doesn't cry much (yet), but he squeaks like a squeaky toy when he sleeps.

Children's Museum with Friends

We took a little trip to the Indy Children's Museum with great friends.  For some reason I didn't pull out my camera much, so there are very few photos of any of her friends.  Olivia and all the kids enjoyed the Dora and Diego exhibit and rest of the museum.
Thanks for the good day Lindsey, Krissy, and Jami!!

Last Pregnant Photos

So I asked Jeremy to get a couple good photos of Olivia and I and the baby before the big day.  Most of the photos he took of us didn't include my belly, which would be good most of the time (if it weren't the point to get a pregnant pic).
Ready for baby boy to come anytime now!

D-Day

There is now an official date for baby!
                                                    March 15, 2011
I had an ultrasound on Monday to check his size and weight.  He is measuring about 6 pounds and 7 ounces at 37 weeks gestation.  He is also about 4 days larger than expected.

37 Weeks!
Since Baby Boy is so large the ultrasound is a little more difficult to make out.  In the top photos is an upclose of his little foot.  In the bottom photo is a head on look. You can see his whole face- eyes, mouth, nose, and at the side his little hand.

Easy and Tasty Dinner Idea

I made dinner the other night from an idea I saw somewhere on TV (I think).  It turned out pretty tasty and very quick to throw together.  I didn't take any photos; maybe because it isn't the most beautiful dish :)

Recipe:
1) Saute in about a Tablespoon of olive oil:
   1 zucchini (bite sized pieces)
1 yellow squash (bite sized pieces)
1- 8 oz. pack sliced mushrooms
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.  Let cool for a couple minutes in skillet.

2) Cook a pound of vegetable or wheat penne to al dente.  Drain.

3) In large bowl mix:
   2 eggs
1- 8 oz. container of ricotta cheese
   1- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella shredded cheese
   Salt and pepper

4) Add cooked pasta and sautéed vegetables to the cheese mixture.

5) Spray 13x 9 dish with cooking spray.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Add the pasta mixture and bake about 30-35 minutes covered with foil.  Uncover and back for about 10 more minutes or until bubbly and cheese is browned.

P.S.  Chicken could easily be added to the recipe for some more protein.
