Memorial Day Summer Fun!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend.  I especially enjoyed Jeremy being home for the 3-day weekend, since that gave me 3 full nights of sleep!!!!

Saturday:  We went and shopped at Edinburg and then drove around Camp Atterbury.  We finished up the afternoon with playtime in the park.

Sunday:  Went to church and cleaned up the house a bit before the Eldridges and Cooks came over for a cookout.  Lots of fun with so many little boys around.
Monday: We stuck around the house and worked on some stuff.

It was a day of FIRSTS:
Olivia helped wash the cars for the first time with Jeremy.
Landon used the outdoor swing for the first time.

Picked the first strawberries from the garden this summer.

And to top it all off... Olivia's first Ice Cream cone of her own!

Serious Thunderstorms!

So this past week was a doozy when it came to serious storms.  I have seen hail before, but never golf ball sized hail!

We also ended up with a broken bedroom window, holes in the house siding, $2500 in damage to my van and $1700 in damage to Jeremy's car!  What fun :(

May Madness

For beginners we went to the zoo with the lovely Freshour family.  It was Landon's first time at the zoo, and well I sort of forgot to take a picture of him :(  Either way the kids had fun on a very warm May day.

I also had a craving for lemon meringue pie this weekend, so I made one!  It turned out very tasty.  I got the recipe from the "Taste of Home Baking Book".
Finally, I started gathering and sorting all the old baby girl clothes and toys for a garage sale.  Olivia walked through the garage today and saw some of the toys I am getting rid of.  She said "Mommy you are getting rid of ALL my FAVORITE toys".
Here is the beginning of the setting up....
50+ pairs of little girl shoes!

Two Months Old!!

I can not believe that my little boy is 2 months old and Olivia is 3 and 1/2 years old.  Yesterday was Mother's day and we dedicated Landon at church.  It was a good morning!
Although the first 6 weeks of Landon's life were spent being pretty sick, I wouldn't take it back for the world.
I might be biased, but they are CUTE!!!!

A little boy and his remote.

Napping- but only if Mommy lays with him.
