Working on a party...

     Landon is turning the "BIG 1" in just a few weeks.  I decided to do a Dr. Seuss themed party, since at 1 year old they have no real interests besides eating, playing, and sleeping.  I am way more excited than anyone else in the house about this party.

     The other night Olivia woke me up at 3 something in the morning complaining about a phantom pain!  I couldn't go back to sleep, so I laid there thinking about how to decorate for his party.

     I decided to make his invitations....boy was that a pain.  I am sadly unskilled in using Photoshop (but I am learning).

Busy Week

 Well Jeremy's Birthday is the 12th and Valentine's Day is on the 14th (of course) and it always makes for a busy week around here.  Although Jeremy and I rarely do much for V-day I do like to celebrate it for the kids and for friends.  We went to Kabuto Japanese Restaurant for lunch with Jeremy's parents.  It was an interesting experience.  Olivia actually cried because of the fire.  We came back to the house and Jeremy opened his gifts.  All gun accessories (of course).

For dinner I thought Jeremy would enjoy a nice homemade ravioli!  So I attempted to make Butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter sauce, Sauteed chicken, and grilled asparagus.

    Not my best meal ever, but it was pretty tasty!  

Happy Birthday Husband!  I love you.

Super Bowl Food

    We had some fun friends over for the Super Bowl this year, and I have been craving a Pinterest find.  When we got home from the grocery store I checked the recipe and realized I was missing ingredients.  I decided to search the internet for a similar recipe and found this...Reeses Peanut Butter Cheesecake!

This is the finished product :)  

It was very tasty and not quite as unhealthy as the original recipe!

I also whipped up some Football Chocolate Covered Strawberries...

Who can resist this cuteness?  Not me!

He is teething this week; finally getting those top two teeth in.  He has been pretty grumpy lately, but when he isn't crying he is SMILING!
