Christmas 2012

We got an Elf on the Shelf for the 1st time.  Our little guy is named Scout.  Olivia really enjoyed finding him in the mornings.

We are a little short on pictures of Christmas this year.  The stomach flu hit the day before Christmas eve and I didn't feel much like taking photos unfortunately.

November

November:

Not sure what happened to the cameras this month, but we only have 2 photos for the whole month.  We don't have any photos of Thanksgiving or anything!?

Jeremy and I completed our year long goal of completing a Half-Marathon!  We ran the Monumental Marathon on November 2nd, 2012.  It was our longest run to date and we were able to run the entire distance without stopping.

So proud of us both for running this together.  2:15 minutes!

Playset-

We also got a playset for our backyard this month.  Thanks to Jeremy, Dustin, and Nic for getting it for us!

Halloween- October 2012

We carved pumpkins before we headed to a friends' house for a Halloween Party.  The weather was cold and rainy, so a party was more fun that trick-or-treating!

Kelsay Farms

One of our favorite places to go in the fall is Kelsay Farms in Whiteland, IN.  It is really close to our home and is so much fun for the kids and the adults.

Olivia turns 5!

Wow!  Can not believe that my little girl has grown up so fast.  It is hard to believe that she is actually five years old.  

She is an amazing little girl.

Birthday Breakfast

We celebrated her Birhtday with a Hello Kitty Party in Kokomo with our families.

 

We had a second party on Sunday with Olivia's friends at our house.

September

Appleworks-

Olivia's 1st field trip was to Appleworks in Trafalgar.  Landon and I chaperoned the trip for Olivia's class.

Olivia begins Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten (Explorers)

Olivia began her last year of Pre-school.  She is in the Explorers program, which is for older students who don't meet the Kindergarten cut-off.  She goes to school from 9-11:30, five mornings a week.

Indiana State Fair- August

Made our annual trip to the Indiana State Fair!

Family Vacation- TN

Tennessee

We traveled to Cleveland TN to stay in a cabin with the Killingbecks.  The adults went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee river.

 After we left the cabins we stopped at Rock City Park with Brian.

August- A Busy Month!

Chicago

Aimee, Mikayla, Olivia and I went to Chicago!

We drove up to April and PJ's house.  We spent the afternoon at the beach.  There was a storm approaching which resulted in some of the biggest waves that have hit Northern Indiana beaches.

Of course I forgot my camera in the car, so I don't have any photos of the kids in the giant waves!

Rode the South Shore into the city.

Took a bus up to Lincoln Park Zoo to start our day.

 On to the American Girl Store!

 Millenium Park then to our last stop Navy Pier.

Went back to April and PJ's house to spend the night and play with cousins.
